During the week of camping a counselor in training program held for kids 14-16 which is a combination of HIV/AIDS, diversity, anger management, stress management and conflict resolution training and the opportunity for the participants to serve in the role as counselor in a supervised setting.

Also, an educational program on puberty and self-esteem for 10-13 year old campers is held during the week of camp.

Therapeutic sessions held during the week of camp and facilitated by psychotherapists, music therapists, yoga and massage practitioners to offer the campers an opportunity to express their feelings and receive support in a safe environment.

There is no charge for any of the services offered by Camp Dreamcatcher. All funds are raised from foundations, the United Way of Kennett Square and Avon Grove, corporations, individuals and fundraising events.
