January Potluck
January 24, 2002

Local artists like Kevin Krick will be present and showing their art. Dances of Universal Peace will lead us in dance. With the events of the past several months and the impact that they have had upon the human community, we feel that the gathering of spiritual and loving people is a powerful force for all. We can not represent the whole of the nations, but we can begin to come together in peace and understanding within our own community. The intention of the evening is New Beginnings. Starting with a short meditation, a time to introduce ourselves, and the ceremonial presentation and a brief introduction of ONE... and our staff, we will enter into a time for sharing food. We will have a "Duni" ceremony in which we think of something that we would like to leave behind, write it on a peice of paper, then burn all of the paper in the fire place. Then we will present our intentions for this new year, singing, drumming and dancing. Anyone can participate. This will be a time to embrace each other in love and joy.
